Thunderbird for Girls celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2009!

Thanks to all who attended! What a wonderful time we had reminiscing about old times and creating lots of new memories. We are so proud of the strong women, young and old, that each of our alums has become. Thunderbird for Boys celebrated its 60th anniversary summer 2006

We had more than 100 Alums join us for a wonderful weekend up North! The celebration began on Friday evening with dinner in the camp lodge followed by "Movie night". Moe brought out the projector and reels along with the video tapes/monitor for an evening of nostalgia. The next night, we had a beautiful Minnesota evening for a traditional "Council Fire" and ended the weekend with a "Final banquet", complete with grasshopper pie. Yum! In between we had 3 glorious days at camp to sail, canoe, swim, boardsail, waterski, and do whatever else our hearts desired. Every activity was open! We sat by the lake, ate s’mores, and hung out with old camp friends. It was exactly how we remembered it! Ahh, life at camp. It doesn’t get better than that!
